Welcome to richardorellanamusic.com

Today I’m opening the doors. Welcome to richardorellanamusic.com.

I’d been wanting a place of my own for a while — somewhere to bring together everything I do, without depending on an algorithm to decide whether you see it or not. This site is exactly that: my music, my work, and how I think about production, all in one place.

What will you find here?

Music. My songs as RichART! and the productions I’ve done for artists like Cholo, WAKA, María Katherina, and Daniel Velez. For every production, I tell you exactly what my role was — no fine print.

The studio. Colorful House Studio, in Quito, with acoustics designed by David Tornay. This is where we record, mix, and master to an international standard, right in the middle of the world.

This blog. I’ll be publishing three kinds of things: news about my releases, what the press says about my work, and — the part I’m most excited about — honest music production tips for independent artists. No magic formulas. Just what I’ve learned in over ten years between stages and studios, told the way I’d tell a friend.

If you’re making music, or want to start, this space is for you too.

And if you have a song spinning around in your head — the one you’ve been putting off for months — message me on WhatsApp. Tell me your idea, no strings attached and no jargon. From the demo on your phone to the song playing on every platform: we walk that road together.

Thanks for being here. This is just the beginning.
